Travel can change your life. Travel spurs curiosity, travel spurs creativity, and travel spurs connection.

Some people see travel as a vacation, I see travel as a lifestyle. By designing a life around the ability to travel, I’ve been able to attend events, meet people, and learn things I never would have thought possible.

Have you wanted to attend that music festival in Budapest? Have you wanted to go to that digital nomad conference in the middle of the Atlantic ocean or have you wanted hang out with other like minded-people at next to a pool in Bali?

We’ve all been taught from a young age that the path to happiness is to go to school, get that dream job, and build your life the way everyone else has for decades. But is that what creates true happiness? In my opinion, the answer is no.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have those things things, the problem is when we focus on the perfect house or the perfect relationship as the source of our happiness. If we must have the perfect job or the perfect car to be happy, you’ll never get there; there is always something more.

Happiness

But when you start living your passion; that house, that relationship and that life materializes for you. You become grateful for the things that you do have as you start living your passion, and then the life of your dreams just shows up. It shows up because you were living it, you weren’t searching for it.

I’m not saying travel is the key to happiness, it’s not. You can accomplish living the life of your dreams anywhere. But from my experience, travel does allow you to open your mind to new ideas, new experiences, and new people like nothing else can.

So where’s your next travel destination? Comment below and tell me how travel has impacted your life.
