No, you are allowed to bring them on but the rule states that you should have the in your carry-on and don’t check them. Also, please don’t fly with them charged as there are cases of them catching fire.

That is rare and I don’t think there are any cases when they were not charging, but it is still good for us as a community to practice and preach good practices.
