Surrounding yourself with like minded people

Today’s blog post is going to be pretty short, but I want to highlight how important it is to surround yourself with like-minded people.

If you haven’t read my 33% rule article, take a look at that one because this is definitely a related concept.

If you are on a path in life, you need to go down that journey with people that are on a similar path as you are. You need to surround yourself with others that you can grow with, learn from and teach.

Today I had two very awesome meetings with other entrepreneurs in NYC. The amazing thing is that when I surround myself with people that have a similar mindset, the ideas just flow and we come up with more ideas and figure out how we can work together.

One of those meetings today was with Yusuf Onder. I find him super inspiring because he overcame all the odds. He grew up poor but he realized he could create a better life for himself and worked his butt off to get there. But he remains super humble, always being appreciative of where he came from.

Now one of his missions is to inspire others to get there themselves, and this is definitely one of my goals in life too. So it is awesome to connect with him and go down this journey together. Keep up the good work Yusuf, can’t wait for all of our future collaborations. Check out his 2017 in review video below.
