This is an awesome article and something I’ve thought a lot about over the past 2 1/2 years since I became location independent. It’s constantly a challenge because unless you plan to be in one place for a while, it is really tough to even get a relationship started.

And then what inevitably happens is you meet someone just before you are about to go somewhere else and have plans to leave for a while. I have my homebase in NYC so I’m here quite often, but it’s hard to date here when I know I’ll be traveling soon for at least 3 months.

Overtime I think there will be more opportunities for nomads to date, we just have to invent the future and figure out how to make it easier for nomads to couple up.
