We need to think different to change the world

Today’s post is going to short since I’m on flight to Miami and escaping a snow storm. But this idea came into my head as I was thinking about my journey yesterday from Los Angeles to Washington DC.

As I was getting my lunch, I asked if there was water available. She immediately gave me a plastic cup. How did we get to the point where we always use single use plastic for every meal?

Luckily I am traveling with a Grayl water bottle. This bottle allows me to filter water almost anywhere on the planet without having to purchase plastic bottles.

Since I started using it, I cut my plastic usage dramatically. Obviously this is only one thing in my life that I’m thinking differently about, but what else can we question in our own lives and in society that can make an impact?
