What does the current roadmap of your life look like?

Deciding the direction you want your life is something we often don’t think about enough

Have you made a conscious decision on how you want to live your life, what experiences you want to have, and the impact you want to make on the world around you?

Or are you just letting things come as they do?

I’m all for just letting things happen naturally, but the reality is that if we don’t have a clear vision for our life and who we want to become, we will never make it there. And quite often we are listening to other people’s thoughts of who they think we should be rather than listening to our own intuition of who we know we are.

It’s actually one of the biggest regrets people have on their deathbed is living the life someone else wanted them to live rather than living the life they themselves wanted.

That’s why I’m grateful I recently came across the realization that I’ve lived my entire life based on my FEELINGS, and that is a beautiful thing. I believe it’s the feelings we have in our life that are our true guide towards a life that is aligned with who we truly are and want to become.

I felt like I needed to study abroad in Australia, I felt like I needed to move to New York City, and 5 years later, I felt like I needed to quit my job and travel the world as a digital nomad.

So how do we actually get there? How do we start going down the path towards creating a strong roadmap for our lives?

I was recently watching an episode of Transcendence on Gaia where Vishen asks three questions that I think are super important to start you down that journey.

  1. What kind of experiences do you want to have in this life?
  2. How do you want to grow?
  3. How do you want to contribute?

Once you have written out the answers to these questions, it’s going to help light the way towards who you want to become.

And then that’s where my engineering brain comes in. If I know these are the experiences I want to have, I know how I want to grow and how I want to contribute; I can start to reverse engineer a plan to get there.

We can start creating small steps each day towards achieving our goals and I promise at the end of a year, if you lay out this plan, you won’t even recognize your life within a short period of time.

If you are looking for more support on how to gain more clarity in your life so you can build this roadmap for yourself, I have a FREE 3-Day Confusion-to-Clarity Workshop that you can go through to help you identify your gifts, your talents, and the person you want to become.
